It’s the small decisions and choices that determine outcomes, as they build upon one another and create a cumulative effect. So I’m setting the foundation at the onset as I move forward in my life, in my practice, and in my skills as a yoga teacher.
What is that foundation? Simplicity, organized thought and practice, commitment, openness, and faith in the journey and the process.
Simplicity — to stay focused on the heart of the teachings and not get distracted by all the noise around me.
Organized thought and practice — from folder structures to practice to thought processes, keep it clear, concise, and focuses.
Faith in the journey and the process — yea, a big one. Faith in the journey means faith in something bigger than me that will guide and support me as I move forward. Nothing happens when I remain stagnant; only in movement can divine support and aid manifest.
Although I am not sure how this will unfold, how I will be able to complete the on site intensives, etc., I am committed to take one step at a step. And this right here — these first small acts showing my intention and commitment to this course — is THE FIRST STEP!
